Ham Radio Operators Broadcast New London Reunion

A hamm radio club sponsored by Mother Francis hospital contacted operators all over the country to talk about the New London explosion. Survivors were able to tell their stories using the radios. The event coincides with the reunion because of Mother Francis connection to the explosion. The hospital was scheduled to open on March 19th, a day after the explosion, but opened on the same day to help the injured. The ham operators will continue communications until the reunion ends on Sunday.  Bob Hallmark reporting/bhallmark@kltv.com
