Hunter Sowards

Hunter Sowards is an East Texas native from Nacogdoches, and she joined the KTRE news team in May of 2016 as a multimedia journalist.
Hunter is an anchor and producer for KTRE’s 6 p.m. and 10 p.m. newscasts.
Hunter earned her bachelor’s degree from Stephen F. Austin State University in radio and television broadcasting.
She spent almost two years interning with KTRE, and a semester at KLTV before she officially became a part of the team.
