Vania Patino is a reporter for NewsChannel 10 in Amarillo, Texas.

She is from Southern California, where she fell in love with the waves of the ocean and cuisine from all over the globe.

She is a graduate of California State University, Fullerton-- where she majored in Communications with an emphasis in broadcast journalism and received a certificate in Spanish media.

Before reporting for NewChannel 10, Vania was an assignment editor at KVEA-Telemundo 52 Los Angeles where she learned the importance journalism plays in providing a voice for those in need.

She is excited to learn about the culture in Amarillo and continue sharing community stories!
