Brennon Gurley anchors Good Morning East Texas Weekend and is a multimedia journalist.
A proud native Texan, he was born in Plano,Texas and raised in East Texas, but has called Springfield, Missouri home for the past three years.
While in Springfield, Brennon was a reporter for a CBS and FOX station. He has covered a wide range of stories, including difficult topics such as; homelessness, mental health, poverty, drug addiction, and hunger.
He graduated from Arkansas State University in December of 2015, with a degree in Multimedia Journalism and a minor in English. Brennon also brings experience from an internship he did with the Dallas Cowboys.
Brennon has a passion for meeting new people, listening to their experiences and feels extremely blessed to get to share their stories within their communities.
He enjoys being outside, listening to live music and trying out new restaurants. He is excited about being back home near his friends and family. Meeting new people and building relationships is a gift Brennon shares everywhere he goes.
