Longview’s Alpine Road closed at Loop 281 due to crash

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - A crash that took place at about 1:30 p.m. has Alpine Road closed at Loop 281.

One vehicle hit another broadside in a two-vehicle wreck. It took about 30 minutes to rescue the driver of the maroon vehicle, who has now been taken to a hospital. The driver of the grey truck is reported to have only minor injuries.

One wrecker was on-scene at about 2:30 p.m., and by 2:50 p.m. the wreck was cleared.
