3rd suspect charged in killing of 24-year-old man in Killeen

KILLEEN, Texas (KWTX) - Prosecutors in Bell County charged Tyshawn Vincente Navarro, 26, the third murder suspect in the 2020 killing of Jonathon Allen Hampton, 24.
In addition to murder, Navarro is facing a slew of charges and will be jailed on a $500,000 bond. He is currently being held in the Garza County Jail and is awaiting extradition to Bell County.
Police had previously arrested Ahmad Elijah Jamel Demps, 21; and Antonio Trevon Edwards Hodges, 21, both of whom are charged with murder and jailed in Bell County on $1-million bonds.
Police officers found Hampton with a gunshot wound to the head after responding to a shots fired called at around 2:20 a.m. on Sept. 16, 2020 in the 1300 block of Fairview Drive.
Justice of the Peace Theodore Duffield pronounced Hampton dead at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Temple.
