LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Another sculpture has been erected by Arts!Longview.

The piece, called Pegasus, was put up in front of Longview City Hall. They felt it was a visible location with plenty of parking, if anyone wants to get a close look at it. The Sculptor, Tom Gingras, says the piece was done by welding and it took over a year to complete.

“I love doing things that are delicate balance and especially where it’s showing the motion and emotion of a piece. I wanted this to be the exhilarated last step on earth before liftoff,” said Sculptor Tom Gingras.

The official unveiling ceremony will be announced by Arts!Longview in the coming weeks.
