EAST TEXAS (KTRE) - The UIL baseball playoffs get down to just a handful of teams left in each region. Sixteen total teams in each classification across the state can say they are still playing baseball. In the 1A classification, Kennard became the first team from the region to earn a trip to the state tournament. It is the second year in a row for the school.
