SMITH COUNTY (KLTV) - A Whitehouse ISD school bus was involved in a wreck with an 18-wheeler Wednesday, just south of Flint on U.S. 69 at Stoneridge.

According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, a Whitehouse ISD bus was involved in a wreck with an 18-wheeler or bobtail, which is an 18-wheeler without the trailer attached.

In a post on Facebook, Whitehouse ISD said Bus 104 was involved in the wreck Wednesday morning. The district said no students were injured and that no one was transferred by EMS.

The district also states that a substitute bus picked the students up.

At this moment, the outside southbound lanes are blocked by emergency vehicles.
