Caldwell Arts Academy receives multiple grants from Tyler ISD Foundation

TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Caldwell Arts Academy received four grants from The Tyler ISD Foundation Tuesday. The grants were celebrated with a marching band that came through the school to congratulate teachers for receiving the checks.

Excited students, teachers, and the marching band joined the celebration and check presentation to teachers who were awarded by the Tyler ISD foundation.

Julianna Wynn teaches digital arts and says grants like these are appreciated.

The Tyler ISD Foundation Rewards creative and educational programs not already supported in school budgets.

The ISD Foundation visited multiple campuses and awarded 46 grants totaling to 95,000.

Wynn says the funds will go toward getting numerous creative tools, software, and equipment for the kids to further their education and prepare them for the future.
