EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - The 911 system is currently offline for some East Texas law enforcement agencies.

Update: Tyler Police 911 services are back up and running. 911 calls are now coming directly into the Tyler Police Department. AT&T has resolved the issue.

The City of White Oak says their system is back to normal, as well.

Kilgore Police Department says their 911 service has been restored as of 9 p.m.

The Van Zandt County Sheriff’s Office has asked all persons with an emergency to call, in the city of Canton, 903-567-4991. If you live in the County, call 903-567-4133 ext. 460. This includes the city of Van.

Additionally, Kilgore Police Department posted they are having intermittent issues, and said that if you have any issues reaching 911, to call 903-983-1559, option 1.

KPD say the issues are effecting many surrounding agencies that are connected to the ETCOG system. Their IT is actively working on the problem, they posted, and said it’s always a good idea to have your local law enforcement agency’s non-emergency number saved.

Gladewater also noted that they are having intermittent 911 outages.

We’re are having intermittent issues with our 911 system. The issues are effecting many local agencies connected to the ETCOG 911 system. ETCOG is working on the problem but does not have an estimated repair time currently. It is always good to have your local police and fire agency’s non-emergency number saved. Our dispatch can be reached at 903-845-2166.

White Oak Police Department shared a similar message, attributing the issues to AT&T, and saying to call 903-759-0106 if citizens in their area need fire, police or EMS help.

Mineola police also say they are experiencing the outages.

The 911 System is currently down and they are working quickly to get the issue resolved! In the meantime if you have an emergency in the City of Mineola please call our NON-Emergency Line 903-569-6294.
