Man killed, several others hurt in club shooting in Wichita, Kansas

WICHITA, Kan. (KWCH/Gray News) -Wichita Police have identified a 34-year-old man as the victim of a shooting at Enigma Club & Lounge early Tuesday morning downtown.

Police identified the victim as Preston Spencer from Wichita, KWCH reported.

Wichita Police originally said along with the death of Spencer, seven people were injured, but in a release later Tuesday morning, they said only five women were injured.

Police will provide more information later Tuesday.

Police said the suspect got into a fight and left the club before returning around 12:30 a.m. and shooting from outside into the club.

Police are still looking for the shooter. He’s described as a man in his 20s around 5-foot-9. Police are still working to get a vehicle description.

Wichita Police are still looking for the suspect in the shooting and ask those with information to call detectives at 316-268-4646 or Crime Stoppers at 316-267-2111.
