Preliminary details indicate a 2020 Peterbilt tractor trailer towing double trailers was headed west on I-30, when for a still undetermined reason, it veered off the road and hit the overpass of the entrance ramp onto I-30.

The driver of the truck died on scene. He has been identified by Texas DPS as Mark Adaway, 45, of Grand Prairie.

As of about 10:30 a.m., I-30 remained shutdown on the westbound side; traffic is being diverted onto the frontage road.
