TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - On Wednesday, the City Council unanimously voted to approve a $3,375,506.40 contract with Reynolds and Kay, LTD., for the 2021 asphalt enhancement project.

The project consists of asphalt enhancements for about 24 lane miles on about 48 streets.

Construction is expected to begin in June 2021 and be completed in March 2022.

The project is funded by the Half Cent Sales Tax program, the city says.
