EAST TEXAS (KLTV) - After Friday’s storm system moves out, all eyes turn to early next week. Another strong storm system will approach East Texas late in the day Tuesday.
As Tuesday gets closer, the Storm Prediction Center is expected to issue a risk for parts of Texas that most likely could include parts of the East Texas region.
Expect thunderstorms to once again develop to the west along a dryline and move into East Texas by late afternoon and evening.
These storms could contain large hail, damaging winds and frequent lightning.
An isolated tornado cannot be ruled out and any heavy rainfall would once again cause a flash flooding risk for areas saturated by Friday’s storms.
