TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The City of Tyler’s Faulkner Skate Park opened for public use on Thursday.
Adriana Rodriguez of the City of Tyler said this is the end of Phase II, and they are ready to start phase III. It went from about 4,000 square feet to 14,000 square feet, with all-new features, ramps, and hills.
We spoke with some skaters who were there to try it out. They gave us a live ride through the park.
There will be a ribbon-cutting for media in a few weeks.
Tyler City Council had approved the expansion back in November 2020.
