Gladewater ISD bus crashes into tree; minor injuries reported

GLADEWATER, Texas (KLTV) - A Gladewater ISD bus struck a tree and minor injuries are reported by the Gladewater Fire Department.

GFD as well as Gladewater Police with Christus and GISD, were on scene of a bus accident that struck a tree on Coach Cooksey Rd. Some minor injuries reported and were being checked by ems.

According to Gladewater ISD superintendent, Cedric Clark, the bus was full at the time of the morning run. Several minor injuries to students, three were transported to the hospital with minor injuries for treatment. No life-threatening injuries were reported.

The crash occurred on Coach Cooksey Road Thursday.

The Gladewater Fire Department, EMS, and GISD were at the scene.
