MARSHALL, Texas (KLTV) - One person died in a house fire that occurred in Marshall early Monday morning.
According to a press release, the City of Marshall’s dispatch center got a call at 1:57 a.m. Monday about a house fire. When Marshall firefighters arrived at the home located in the 4300 block of Sherman Drive, they found it fully engulfed in flames.
“Marshall Fire Department firefighters initially searched the home for survivors,” the press release stated. “However, there was one fatality in the home. The investigation is ongoing at this time.”
No firefighters were injured.
