TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - A Tyler man and his family were inside their home when a tree came down on Sunday night following several hours of snowfall.
Antonio Thompson says he, his wife, and his stepson were getting ready for bed when they heard the tree come down.
“Boom! There was a big shake and the lights went out,” Thompson said. “So we got dressed, jumped up, and came out.”
Thompson said no one was hurt, but the tree did damage two vehicles in the home’s driveway.
“Looks like the cars are probably totaled,” Thompson said.
The tree brought down power and utility lines leaving Thompson without electricity and cable.
