East Texas (KLTV) - Here is the Weather Where You Live... We will continue to see cloudy skies through the early night hours with a few breaks in the overcast expected later tonight. Mostly Cloudy early on Friday...becoming Partly Cloudy during the afternoon hours. Cool temperatures continue! Partly Cloudy and continued cool on Saturday with a cold morning/cool afternoon. On Sunday, we are looking for more clouds to move in with a chance for some light rain and some light snow possible. Snow accumulations are expected to be .50″-1.00″, and mainly on elevated surfaces like grassy areas and rooftops. There are some forecasts that are saying more snow and some less, so we will continue to pinpoint the amounts as we head into Sunday. As the chances for precipitation ends on Monday morning, a few more flurries are possible with no additional accumulations likely. Very late on Sunday night and early on Monday morning, we may have to be careful on some bridges and overpasses as temperatures on Monday morning drop just below freezing. It won’t take too long for this issue to end as temperatures warm up during the late morning hours and some sunshine returns. This wintry precipitation tricky, but the chances are certainly possible. Chilly mornings, Cool/Mild afternoons are expected through late next week with more sunshine likely. Stay tuned for more information.
