EAST TEXAS (KLTV/KTRE) - Good morning, East Texas! Most of the heavy rain ended overnight, but areas of mist and drizzle are leftover this morning.
The drizzle will end this morning, but the clouds will stick around into the afternoon. Breezy northwest winds will make for a cold start to the day, but those winds will calm down through the afternoon and evening. Clouds begin to clear overnight with partly cloudy to even mostly sunny skies expected tomorrow.
Temperatures will stay chilly with highs in the 40s both today and tomorrow and barely reaching 50 degrees on Saturday. Mostly sunny Saturday, but clouds return Saturday night with a good chance for rain on Sunday. As temperatures drop Sunday evening, the rain could mix with snow through early Monday morning.
At this point, no accumulations are expected, so no travel problems are anticipated for the Monday morning commute.
Stay tuned for more details as we get closer to the weekend!
