First Responders receive free vehicle from Patterson Dodge of Tyler
TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - Patterson Dodge of Tyler gifted a brand new truck to four first responders today.
12 nominees from the Smith County’s Sheriff’s Department, Tyler Police and Fire Department, and UT Health EMS participated in the event.
Four winners were given a brand-new 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 Crew Cab to use for three months at a time.
The winners who will be receiving the vehicle are…
· Luis Sandoval, Smith County’s Sheriff’s Office.
· Cory Chamberlain, Tyler Police Department.
· Juliana Castro, UT Health EMS.
· David Admire, Tyler Fire Department.
“It brings me joy to know that whenever I leave the house, leave my family behind and I come to a job like this, that there’s support out there for sure. definitely when the community comes together, and it reminds me why I do this job in the first place,” Chamberlain said.
The four winners will also receive unlimited car washes during their tenure.
“It’s really just overwhelming. This year has been extensive, away from family and unpredictable. Out of all the unpredictable things that could of happened during 2020, this is probably the best unpredictable thing that could’ve happened in 2021,” Paramedic for UT Health EMS, Castro said.
All nominees received gift cards to Villa Montez.
