Longview Fire Department responds to an overnight structure fire

LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - Longview firefighters responded to an overnight structure fire early this morning.
Fire crews were dispatched to the scene of the blaze along 100 block of Avenue D. The call for the fire came in shortly before 5:30 a.m.
Kevin May of the Longview Fire Department said the cause was a cooking fire.
May also said the homeowner was treated for smoke inhalation but was not taken to the hospital.
