Two people were injured after an 18-wheeler drove off I-20, crashing onto Woodsprings Road.

SMITH COUNTY, Texas (KLTV) - Two people were hospitalized after an 18-wheeler drove off Interstate 20 and landed on County Road 463.

According to the Lindale Police Department, they responded to a crash involving a commercial 18-wheeler at about 2:46 a.m. Police reported the vehicle had driven off the interstate and crashed on Woodsprings Road, blocking the roadway.

Two people were seriously injured in the crash. Lindale police identified them as Michael Pradell and Marie Bradley, both from Florida. They were taken to a hospital with non-fatal injuries.

Lindale police reported Woodsprings Road will be closed until further notice as crews continue to clear the scene. They reported County Road 461 and County Road 472 can be used as detours.
