TYLER, Texas (KLTV) - The Tyler City Council this week will consider approving a $55,320 bid for the demolition and clearance of 11 houses.

According to the City of Tyler, the properties have been declared to be “blighted areas” — or substandard structures.

Council members are expected to vote on the bid from DEAA Corporation when they meet at 9 a.m. Wednesday morning.
