LONGVIEW, Texas (KLTV) - This weekend America will mark the 50th anniversary of its crowning achievement in space exploration — man’s first giant leap onto the moon’s surface.

KLTV’s Bob Hallmark spoke to Fred Ritchey, the Dean of LETU’s College Of Aviation and Aeronautical Science, about how the moon landing was possible at a time that came decades before smartphones and when computers were the size of rooms.
