Weather watches and warnings issued for parts of East Texas

EAST TEXAS (KLTV/KTRE) - 5:06 p.m.: Tornado warnings issued for Jasper, Newton counties through 5:30 p.m.

4:53 p.m: Thunderstorm Warning has been issued for Sabine County until 5:45 p.m.

3:26 PM: A Tornado Warning has been issued for Panola County until 4:15 p.m.

3:19 PM: Tornado Warning for Harrison, Panola Counties until 4 p.m. The warning has been cancelled.

2:55 PM: Tornado Warning for Harrison and Panola Counties until 3:30 p.m. As of 3:12 PM, the warning has been cancelled.

2:50 PM: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Cass, Marion, Harrison, and Panola Counties until 3:30 p.m.

2:40 PM: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Harrison, Marion, Panola Counties until 3 PM.

2:29 PM: Severe Thunderstorm Warning for Cass, Marion, Morris Counties until 3:30 p.m.

2:25 p.m.: A tornado warning has been issued for Harrison and Marion counties. It is set to expire at 3:15 p.m.

2:13 PM: A Tornado Watch has been issued for Angelina, Cass, Cherokee, Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Nacogdoches, Panola, Rusk, Sabine, San Augustine, and Shelby Counties until 11 p.m. Houston, Polk, and Trinity Counties are also included in this watch.

2:02 PM: Severe Thunderstorm Warning issued for Gregg, Harrison, Marion, Panola, Rusk, Upshur Counties until 3 p.m.

The National Weather Service has issued a Tornado Warning for Marion County and Cass County until 2:30 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Watch is in effect for some counties in East Texas.

According to the weather service, the watch covers Anderson, Polk, Trinity, and Houston Counties along with other counties outside of East Texas.

The watch is in effect until 8 p.m.
