East Texas (KLTV/KTRE) - Here’s a look at the weather where you live: The first of two cold fronts associated with a surface low has pushed through East Texas this morning, pushing any strong to severe storms out of our area. The second cold front has begun to move through our area, and will push most of the remaining moisture out of East Texas, with clearing skies and temperatures cooling into the upper 40s overnight. Late this afternoon a few more showers and thundershowers possible as the northerly flow around the surface low pulls any remaining showers into East Texas. Not all will see rain but certainly expect the possibility as you’re heading back home from work. No more severe weather is expected today. Friday we will see nothing but sunshine and a mild afternoon with highs in the upper 60s, then even more sunshine for the weekend with upper 70s for your Saturday. A cool start to your Easter Sunday with morning lows in the middle 50s before warming to near 80 degrees in the afternoon. Cloud cover returns to the forecast on Monday with slight chances for a few showers in the later evening hours. Showers and thundershowers become likely as we head into the middle part of the work week.
