East Texas (KLTV) - Here is the Weather Where You Live... After a very nice day, tomorrow should be about the same, however, more clouds are expected. Still mild and still breezy. As we head into Wednesday, strong to severe storms are once again in the forecast, especially during the second 1/2 of the day and even carrying over into the overnight hours. A First Alert Weather Day has been declared for Wednesday through Wednesday night as a dry-line/cold front combination passes into and through East Texas. A few isolated strong to severe storms will be likely on Wednesday afternoon/evening and again very early on Thursday morning (Pre-Dawn). The Storm Prediction Center has placed the NW sections of East Texas under another Enhanced Risk for Strong/severe storms which is a 30% chance of significant severe weather. The greatest risks in these storms will be gusty winds and large hail. The tornado risk and flash flooding risks will remain low, but certainly not out of the question. We will monitor this for you VERY carefully. Once the storms move out early on Thursday morning, very pleasant conditions are expected through the Easter Weekend. Lots of sunshine...cool mornings and mild to warm afternoons. We certainly need and deserve a nice weekend for a change.
