RUSK COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Search crews were back in force Saturday looking for any clues in the disappearance of a missing East Texas woman.
With teams of dogs and ATV’s, members of first priority search and rescue set out to cover every inch of ground that could possibly hold a clue near the community of Laneville.
"We're going to go out an look for Kimberly Flint in areas in between the crash site and her home," says search team member Monica Santelar.
At the time of her disappearance, authorities found Kimberly Flints car crashed on the side of Highway 84 near the Angelina River, but she was nowhere to be found.
They're looking for something, anything out of place.
"Anything out of place that like normally wouldn't be there. A piece of clothing, anything," Monica says.
Longtime friend and neighbor Becky Morgan joined in the effort.
"I actually came to pray for the searchers. Kim Flint is my friend, she's been missing 6 months. And we need to know what happened that day when she went missing. She was kind of like a daughter to me. I was like a mom to her. I know her family misses her dearly," Becky says.
They searched around Flints home, nearby fields and ponds, and on county roads.
"The family needs this, they need this support. There's people here that care about them," Morgan says.
They hope they'll one day find something that will shed light on where Kimberly is.
"We'll continue to look. Yes we will," Santelar says.
Flints car was recovered and thoroughly searched as well, but as of yet, no clues have been found.
Anyone with information is urged to call the Rusk County Sheriff’s Office.
