Thieves steal gear from Chapel Hill Fire Department
The Smith County Sheriff's Office is asking for the public's help in finding stolen gear from a fire department

SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - The Smith County Sheriff’s Office is asking the public for help identifying who broke in and stole gear from the Chapel Hill Fire Department.

According to the sheriff’s office, the suspect or suspects broke into the Chapel Hill Fire Department and stole approximately 10 Chapel Hill Fire Department bunker gear sets (jackets and pants).

They said the theft possibly occurred between February 18 and February 22.

They said most of the jackets have a “Chapel Hill” or similar marking on them.
