TYLER, TX (KLTV) - A Louisiana woman has pleaded guilty to stealing more than $60,000 from a Lindale business and has accepted a four-year prison sentence.

Court records show Ashley Stephens, 34, entered the plea Monday in Judge Kerry Russell’s courtroom.

The Smith County Sheriff’s Office alerted the public on Stephens in October after they believed she had dyed her hair and skipped town after charges were filed against her.

Stephens was arrested on Oct. 30 in Reeves County.
