In addition to recently being named the MVP and Offensive Player of the Year by the Professional Football Writers of America, White house native Patrick Mahomes now has a roller coaster named after him - at least temporarily.
The Worlds of Fun amusement park in Kansas City, Missouri, posted a tweet with a photo of the roller coaster.
“To stand in solidarity with @Chiefs during this weekend’s AFC Championship game, the roller coaster known as The Patriot has been temporarily renamed The Patrick.
Mahomes, the starting quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs, has led the team to a 12-4 regular season. Last week, the Chiefs beat the Indianapolis Colts 31-13 in the divisional round of the playoffs.
On Sunday, the Kansas City Chiefs will face the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship. The game is scheduled to start at 5:40 p.m.
