BOWIE COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - Two minors are in the hospital in Dallas after the Bowie County Game Warden said they evaded arrest and crashed into a tree in Titus County after a high-speed pursuit.
According to the Game Warden, around 2:30 p.m. Thursday, they saw a vehicle traveling at a high rate of speed on I-30 westbound at the 188 mile marker.
The game warden said the vehicle nearly caused an accident with its driving and he attempted to pull it over.
That’s when the game warden said the vehicle began to evade. The vehicle evaded down I-30 onto U.S. 259 into Morris County who then took over the pursuit.
The pursuit made it’s way to Titus County before the vehicle crashed into a tree near the intersection of County Road 3065 and County Road 3070.
Security camera footage from a nearby home captured the end of the pursuit as the vehicle hit the tree.
The game warden said the vehicle was stolen out of Kentucky. Both occupants of the vehicle were transported to a hospital in Dallas.
The names of the people of the vehicle are not being named due to their ages, but the game warden said the driver will be facing a vehicle theft charge out of Kentucky as well as 3rd degree evading causing seriously bodily injury.
