Kaufman County remains the only county under a Burn Ban at this time.
Once again this afternoon/evening, scattered showers and thundershowers formed along the Sea Breeze front and moved into portions of ETX. Today's were fewer than yesterday's and tomorrow's should be less than today. Keep praying for rain.
Very warm mornings and hot afternoons will continue. Lows in the middle 70s and Highs in the middle to upper 90s will be the rule through early next week. Once the high weakens a bit on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week, chances for showers and thundershowers will return, mainly during the afternoon / evening hours.
There is an area of disturbed weather, east of the Lesser Antilles and that area could become a tropical depression/storm over the next 48 hours (2 days). Most of the forecast models are tending to place the system over the far eastern Gulf of Mexico or along the SE sections of the U.S. by the middle part of next week. If there are any changes in this forecast, we will let you know, so stay tuned.
