Thank you for participating in our poll. Here are the results so far:
Scattered showers and storms will begin to increase this evening across East Texas, as a disturbance moves in from the west.
Lows will fall into the upper 50s to low 60s by tomorrow morning.
Showers and storms will continue through Monday ahead of a cold front moving in from the north.
Highs tomorrow will stay in the upper 70s to low 80s.
The best chance for these storms will be on Monday, as the cold front makes its way into East Texas Monday afternoon/evening. We'll even have a slight chance for severe thunderstorms, with the major threat being large hail and damaging winds. The chance for showers and storms will continue through Tuesday morning.
By Tuesday afternoon, a ridge of high pressure will build over the region, bringing sunny skies through Wednesday.
Keep those umbrellas handy! Another area of low pressure will bring a cold front through East Texas by late week. We'll see another chance for showers and storms Thursday through Saturday.
Skies will clear once again by Sunday.
The cold fronts headed our way this week will bring chances for showers and storms, but they will be weak, so our temperatures won't be affected. Lows will stay in the upper 50s to low 60s. Highs will stay in the upper 70s to low 80s.
