TYLER, TX (KLTV) - East Texans are looking forward to the Azalea Trails in Tyler.

The signs are up and the city is preparing for the trail to begin on March 20th. The Tyler Convention and Visitors Bureau explained that they have it down to a science and tell us why rain isn't a factor.

"Our trail is in the walk has been watered by homeowners so I don't expect there to be a drought situation in the yards, said Justin Turner with the Tyler Convention & Visitors Bureau. "They do turn on their sprinklers and do water them regularly so I do expect to have a very pretty bloom."

This is the 50th anniversary of the Tyler Azalea Trail. Three more miles and a garden tour have been added this year.
