One of the Senate candidates President Bush has already campaigned for was in Gregg County campaigning today.
Republican candidate for U.S. Senate John Cornyn made a stop in Longview.
Veteran U.S. senator Kay Bailey Hutchison was at Cornyn's side to help drum up support for the former state attorney general.
Cornyn told voters at the Gregg County Republican headquarters that this election isn't just about getting elected, but supporting the current administration.
Right now, Cornyn has a nine percentage point lead over democratic rival Ron Kirk.
