TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Dozens of Welcome Home Soldiers volunteers lined the streets Sunday afternoon for a soldier just home from Iraq.

Army Specialist Stevenson Roberson, 49 is a member of Tyler's National Guard unit.  He's home on two weeks leave after serving eight months in Iraq.  With flags, signs, music and lots of hugs, Roberson says there's nothing better than being home.

"Man, it was mind blowing," said Roberson.  "It was spectacular.  It was something I never expected in a million years, and I am overwhelmed and excited.  I am happy, and I don't know what else I can say to show my appreciation."  Roberson says he plans to spend some much needed time with his family and then prepare himself to head back to Iraq.
