TROUP, TX (KLTV) - Troup police are investigating a hit and run that has left a 13 year old boy in ICU.
The Troup police chief told us that the boy was standing by the side of the road with a group of other kids who were attending a youth program at a church located on Railroad Street in Troup(also known as FM 135).
The only description police have of the vehicle is that it was a red Dodge pick up truck, possibly a late 90's model and might have some damage to the front right of the truck.
The truck was traveling south towards Jacksonville. The child was airlifted around 7 last night. His injuries are not life threatening according to police.
