Multi-Million Dollar Fraud Trial Begins For Al Petty

Opening arguments began Monday in the trial of an East Texas man accused of defrauding three thousand people across America.

Al Petty pled not guilty to all ninety-eight of the charges against him, including wire fraud, mail fraud, and money laundering. Both sides made their opening statements in the trial on Monday.

The prosecution entered into evidence petty's bank and credit card records, and called their first witness, a former employee of Petty. The trial is expected to last two weeks.
