Longview Woman Arrested for Vehicle Burglary

LONGVIEW, TX - A Longview woman has been arrested for breaking into a SUV Monday night.

According to authorities, the suspect, Heather Alicia Goettle Rogers, was seen breaking into a 2008 Chevrolet Suburban in the parking lot in front of Tractor Supply Company.

Wittnesses said that when Rodgers saw she was being watched, she fled without taking anything from the Suburban. The Tractor Supply employees were able to give police a detailed description of the suspect's truck.

Between survailance footage and evidence that was left at the scene by the suspect, officers were able to locate the suspect near her home and arrest her.

Rogers is being held in the Gregg County Jail for burglary of a motor vehicle which is a class A misdemeanor.
