TYLER, TX (KLTV) - Tyler police need the public's help locating the man who robbed two girls outside a bowling alley Saturday night.  It happened around 11:30 p.m. in the parking lot of Green Acres Bowling Center in Tyler.  That's in the 2300 Block of ESE Loop 323.

Jennifer Bonnell, 21 says she and her friend were sitting in their car smokine, when a man pointed a gun at them and demanded money.  At first, Bonnell says she could not believe what was happening.

"The whole time I was thinking, either we are going to get shot in the stomach, or we are going to get out of this," said Bonnell.  "My friend who's had military training, the only thing she could think to do is push the gun out of our faces because you really can't think, like what to do because it's happening so fast, but so slow at the same time."  The suspect, police say fled on foot.

He's described as a white male around 5'6" with short brown hair and a goatee.  He was wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, blue jeans and also has a lip ring.  Anyone with information is asked to call Tyler police at 903-531-1000, or Crimestoppers at 903-597-CUFF.  Crimestoppers will pay up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
