A Longview couple is reunited with their family pet after more than a month after he went missing, and they did it with some surprising help from the Internet.  It was a long journey home for a dog called Little Man.  For the Dozier's of Longview, it's nothing short of miraculous.

"Oh my, oh my, I was just elated," said Phillis Dozier.  "I had people praying for Little Man."  December 9th, Earnest Dozier took Little Man deer hunting with him in a remote area near Tilden.  That's where Little Man vanished.

"Well, basically it was his first trip to South Texas," said Earnest.  "I looked, and he wasn't there.  I know he got off on a rabbit trail, literally on a rabbit trail, all the predators were against him, the elements were against him."  They went back to look around Christmas, but nothing.

"I was 450 miles away from him," said Earnest.  "He was in the middle of nowhere, and I had no idea where he was, or where to find him."  Then they went to the Internet, fido-finders.com, and sure enough, there was Little Man.  A Tilden couple had found him, cold and hungry, but alive.

"What I don't neither my husband, or I understand is how he survived two weeks," said Little Man's rescuer Helen Shelton of Tilden.  "It's so dry here, there's no water, there's coyotes and bobcats.  Tired and shaken, but Little Man is back with his family again.

"He's been showered with love, and he's become my little lap dog," said Phillis.  Just in case, the Dozier's have now implanted an identification micro-chip in Little Man.
