A get together earlier today was held for those looking to keep East Texas "green."
At Tyler's first annual "Living Green" symposium, people talked to vendors about green products, services, and ideas on how to live a more sustainable lifestyle. Rainwater collection devices were featured and yes...even green dirt.
Vicki Rowe, a board member of Keep Tyler Beautiful said the symposium gave people a chance to see the many different options of going green, no matter how big or small.
"We want ppl to pay attention to their impact on the earth and try to change it try to improve it. Buy locally, support your local vendors, go green when you can. Its just small changes, small moves in your family that you can do at home and at work that you can do to go green easily."
If you're looking to live greener, we can help you out.
