NEVER FAIL PIE CRUST
4 c flour
1¾ c vegetable shortening
2 tsp salt
1 T sugar
½ c water
1 T vinegar
1 egg
Combine flour, shortening, salt and sugar. Mix together water, vinegar, and egg; pour liquid mixture into dry mixture. Mix with pastry blade in mixer or food processor until completely mixed together.
Can be stored in a ball in the refrigerator for up to a week.
