EAST TEXAS (KLTV)

Not too late for flu shot

With the height of the Texas flu approaching, State Health Services officials are reminding people it's not too late to get a flu vaccination.  The peak of the Texas flu season usually is in January and February.  It takes about two weeks for the vaccine to become effective. Vaccination is recommended for people ages six months and older.  They are available in shot and nasal spray forms.
