The most popular part of the State Fair of Texas isn't a ride, it's the auto show, annually drawing millions to see the over two hundred thousand square feet of automobiles.
Euless resident Dave Olsen explains, "I enjoy the auto show. I enjoy looking around, seeing what they have, exploring what I might want to do for the next vehicle."
"The show is self-perpetuating," says Kelly Pound, Fair Director of Exhibits. "Every year there's something new. The State Fair of Texas is the first real auto show of the season so we get a lot of the new products."
The latest innovations and designs keep fairgoers of all ages coming back every year. With the show now filling two pavilions, Director Kelly Pound has his own idea why the exhibit is so universally popular. "Tradition," he says. "I came here with my grandparents and parents when I was a kid."
