Chapel Hill home goes up in flames

A Chapel Hill home goes up in flames causing major smoke damage throughout the house.  It started around 12:30 p.m., Sunday in the 9000 Block of County Road 2259.  Fortunately, firefighters say no one was home when the fire started.

The homeowners say they believe the fire started in the back of the house and spread from there.  The exact cause, however, is still under investigation.  Firefighters say the kitchen is badly damaged and the rest of the house suffered smoke and water damage.
