Suspect Questioned in Good Samaritan Rape

An East Texas woman thought she was getting a ride from a "Good Samaritan." But, that man is now being interviewed by police, facing accusations he raped and robbed his passenger. According to the woman's story, the man stopped and offered to help, after her car broke down Wednesday morning near Timpson and Green Street. He told her he would drive her home. Instead, he took her to a secluded area where she was allegedly raped and then robbed. An unusual part of the story is  the woman's common-law husband was driving by, and saw the woman pushed out of the car after the incident. Police are now talking with the suspect under representation of an attorney.
